BridgeValley recognizes the unprecedented challenges we face in Southern West Virginia. Our communities need more than a school. They need a conscientious neighbor devoted to revitalizing the health and economies of the places we call home. In Montgomery, we are collaborating with local community groups in community planning projects by working closely with local city government and the Kanawha Valley YMCA, as well as local citizens to help grow the area’s arts scene and foster entrepreneurship. Similar efforts are underway on the West Side of Charleston to enrich the community and help more students gain a college degree.
BridgeValley Community and Technical College promotes student success, prepares a skilled workforce, and builds tomorrow’s leaders by providing access to quality education. BridgeValley strives to be the college of opportunity for a diverse population of a six-county region including Fayette, Raleigh, Nicholas, Clay, Putnam and Kanawha counties. The college operates two campuses in Montgomery and South Charleston, along with the addition of the Advanced Technology Center.
